Pearls, the Beauty of Treasures !!

A Gemstone created by living creatures. Mollusk with a soft unsegmented body usually enclosed in a shell, the group of animal creature in the body of water; Oysters, Mussels, Clams, Conchs and Gastropoda. The Mollusk goes in defence mechanism, when an irritant finds it way inside the Mollusk such as seawater sand or dust. The Mollusk will produce layers of secretions (also called Nacre) over the irritant slowly developing a natural Pearl.

What is cultured Pearls ?

These pearls are not formed by mother nature, but formed at the hands of humans, know as Oyster farms. Farmers will insert an irritant such as a shell bead nucleus inside the Oysters soft tissues forcing the Oyster defence mechanism. The layers of Nacre are formed naturally the same as a natural pearl would develop.
